Just to let you know - this is the second house I had built, and my first one was an exercise in what should not happen. I had major, huge problems with my first house spanning 7 years. So this time, I was a little paranoid.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my house. I've been in it over a year now, and I smile sometimes when I walk through it just because it's so beautiful and it makes me so happy to know I live here. I had looked at a lot (more than 100) of houses before coming to Tim, and hadn't found anything I liked or felt like I could even just live with. To me, your house is your sanctuary, a place to retreat from the world and be safe. I never found a place that made me feel that way until I found this house. It's a wonderful place to be.
I picked a plan that I had been imagining in my head for a couple of years. I was amazed that Tim had one so close to what I dreamed about. He worked with me to make sure my plan was just what I wanted and he gave me some ideas to make it even better for me. Plus, the finishes he offers and the standard included upgrades were great. I only upgraded a few things because most of what he offers as standard is so nice you don't need to upgrade it.
I'm a pretty high maintenance person. I have had very few and really just minor problems since my house was built. Tim and Charity are always quick to respond to any issues I have and have provided wonderful customer service to me. I don't worry if I do find a problem, because I know they will get it taken care of quickly and they will make sure the contractor does good quality work.
I would, and probably will, buy another house from Tim. That is, if Ican ever give up this one. He will do what he says and you will end up with a good quality, beautiful home.
Robert and I had Tim build us a home in 2008. We absolutely love our home!! It's our dream home and we are so happy with the outcome. Tim and his team are so easy to work with. We were able to pick all our colors and tile, etc.. Tim even let us add a border that we had found somewhere else. Tim had an open mind when it came to making changes or adjustments to the home. Tim was very honest with us. When we wanted to make a change he would let us know if he didn't think it would work and why. He would still make the change if we wanted but we knew where he stood and usually chose to listen to his expertise. He builds a good quality home and we would build with Windmiller Homes again if the need arose!!!
